JAZZ FACETS

This group placed second from over 2000 entrants in the 1997 Hennessey jazz search competition and has been featured at the Detroit Montreaux and Chicago Jazz Festivals.  Jazz, classical, latin and swing standards are all part of the arrangements and improvisations of this ensemble. A favorite at clubs like pops for Champagne, Pete Millers, The Green Dolphin and Andy's.

Jose has worked with many world class artists such as Jose Fajardo, Tito Puente, Lou Rawls, Freddie Cole, and Basilio Marquez of Irakere. his trio currently features Chuck Desormeaux on sax / flute, and Luis Rosario on drums, both of whom have performed with Nancy Wilson, Woody Herman, Cal Tjader,  and other great artists.  the quintet / quartet also showcases top players from the Chicago Jazz Scene.
